NEWS 2007
- Allen Pittman, the Director of Physical Training Traditions is now living in Brittany, France and creating a new school of physical and esoteric training called "The Wisdom of the Body". There will be a link to the Wisdom of the Body site coming and the site will be in both English and French.
- Allen Carroll and Dave Jones are now directing the Physical Training Traditions classes and research in Atlanta. The Chen Pan-ling Research Group under the direction of Randy Causey and Karen Jensen also continues its research and training interphasing with Allen and Dave and at times cross referencing information.

Victoria/Victoire Slakey is my translator and co-designer of a system of body movements which go from the ground to standing upright and walking and squatting and lunging. These movements exemplify the stages of growth in child development, human history and the history of religion. They combine Eastern and Western approaches and can be taught to anyone of virtually any age in varying sequences and can be used as therapy, athletic conditioning or martial art preliminary. And they are also a really fun way to get into shape and understand your body in a new way. We call this system of training La Sagesse du Corps or "The Wisdom of the Body". "La Sagesse" specifically address the need of the human being to join psychological integration to physical vigor and health.

my project plans there include the training of social workers and how they interact with juvenile delinquents. Private instruction in martial arts or related fields including The Wisdom of the Body training is available. I may be up in Sweden later in the year.

(who is my mother who resides there with my Dad). I hope to get to see more of Spain, particularly Seville and Toledo. I also have an interest in the Basque culture and their dance and martial arts traditions. There is plenty of space to train there at their house or we can go up into the mountains to train as well.
